We are currently just finishing up the mixing on our upcoming album. Things are sounding Lovely! We are in a beautiful studio in Northern Ontario, directly on Georgian Bay, overlooking the beautiful lake. Arrived in from Europe late on the 12th, and were driven here direct. Hello there! Thanks to the hundreds of you who showed up for our Amazing London gig a couple nights ago at Water Rats Theatre. Who knew so many lovely people were up for having a good time on a Monday! We are currently in Amsterdam. We are playing the beautiful, Paradiso Theatre tonight. A honour playing there! The tour finishes up tonight; our fourth UK/Europe tour in just over a year. We will be back on this side of the pond in a few weeks, so stay tuned.

Writing to you from Southampton, England currently. Our 9th show in 11 days tonight. The tour has been amazing. Thanks to everyone who has been coming out to see the band, and thanks for all the kind words and good times! We are playing a headlining show at Water Rats Theatre in London tomorrow night, and Paradiso in Amsterdam on the second. We’re having a great time, and will be back in Canada in a week or so!

Recording of the new album is complete! We are extremely proud to announce that the recording of our new album is finished. The last month and a half of hard work, recorded entirely at Mushroom Studios in Vancouver, Canada, has been a great experience, and we are really proud and excited about how it turned out! Working with producer, Jeff Dawson was an amazing time, and we can’t wait till you get a chance to hear everything!
Mixing of the album will start in Vancouver at the beginning of January, and will last a couple weeks. Expect the release of the disc sometime in the late Winter or early Spring. Exciting times for Birds of Wales!

Birds of Wales will be playing at the South by South West Festival in Austin Texas this upcoming March. From Texas, the band will be heading to Europe for their 4th tour in the last year. Show details will be released soon so stay tuned!
Still in the studio here in Vancouver. The album is nearing completion and sounds fantastic! Excited? We sure are!

A Toronto Film Company, Robotnik Films, is filming a documentary on Birds of Wales currently. A crew is currently shooting the bands recording process in Vancouver. The Documentary, shot entirely in HD, will capture the band in studio, on tour and apart from music over the next few months- in Toronto, Vancouver and abroad on tour. Keep posted for more information.
