I will be playing in a charity basketball game on Sunday at U of Toronto’s main gym. The game is for a really well run organization called Athletes for Africa and will have myself, Dallas Green, Max from Arkells a handful of other musicians, and a couple NBA players playing. The game will be covered by The Score tv network, and should be a good time! Should I admit that I haven’t played organized basketball since grade 8?

We are also excited to tell everyone that we are playing the Scenefest Festival in St Catharines on the Exclaim! stage at 5:30pm downtown on Sunday June 27th. A ton of great bands are playing, so come one, come all!

Much Music video awards are this Sunday June 20th as well, so the evening and night will be full of socializing and partying. Hope my liver doesn’t object too much.

Western Canadian tour to be announced soon? Why yes, I think that would be a really good idea!

We’re currently featured on Sticky Magazine for our show last week in Toronto at the Garrison. Its a really nice review and has a bunch of photos and even a video of us playing ‘Not All Musicians Are Broke’. Go check it out!

We’re going to take a few days off right now.  I’m going to head to Austin for a few days, then back to Canada and rehearsals.  Expect to see Western Canadian tour dates being added over the next couple weeks.  We can’t wait to get back there!  Home sweet home for this Vancouver boy.

Big thanks to the great people that came out to all the shows so far – Waterloo sold out, and we had a really awesome time. Was really nice seeing everyone singing along and Maxwell’s was a great venue! We will definitely be heading back there again this summer. London was a great time as well – the band was feeling pretty tired after the Waterloo show, complete with a nap in the van before the set, but the positive energy at Call the Office really helped us wake up. I personally had a really good time in London – had been worried though, I somehow managed to break my finger the night before. The glory!

Five days of minimal sleep, so tonight is going to be a resting one for us here in TO. We’re heading to Sudbury on Tuesday, TImmins on Wednesday, our CD Release show in Toronto on Thursday, Kingston on Friday and Ottawa on Saturday. Really looking forward to the dates!

If you’re in Toronto, tickets for the Thursday show are available at Soundscape and Rotate this, and at the door. We are the Take and the Treasures are opening up the night, and it’s going to be a great time!!

The video was shot in New York City and Toronto at the end of March and beginning of April by Director, Remi Rybicki. Big thank you to Much Music and the MuchFact grant for helping out. We had a great time filming the video, and would also like to thank out the beautiful ladies who came out and sat on a quirky little soviet car. Us band members thought it was a great idea!
